The name Paraguay comes from the language of Guarani. The word "Para" means ocean, "gua" means from or to, and "y" means
water. In other words, Paraguay means:"Water that comes from the ocean". Pretty cool huh? :D
Welcome to the Paraguay project website. Although we're not entirely sure if mrs. bender will give us anything for doing
a website, we thought it would be cool to set one up. You see, Nicolette did a few projects on paraguay in the past, and i
did a project on paraguay's brother country, Uruguay, so we both thought it would be cool to do a project together on this
particular country(that and the fact that some other losers allready took uruguay..... URG!).

The Paraguayan Flag
The Paraguayan flag, shown above, Has three horizontal strips, one of red, one of white, and one of blue(sound famillar?).
It also has the Paraguayan Coat of Arms in the center of the flag.
